“Infinite Love” by Nicole Kang Ahn for Forward Warrior 2023

2022

We Love Buford Highway commissioned me and artist Patricia Hernandez to paint over a customized newspaper stand. This mural is an homage to our immigrant mothers.

This newspaper stand is public art initiative, and will travel along Buford Highway’s corridor to distribute We Love Buford Highway’s newsletters. The project was conceptualized during my time at the Atlanta Regional Commission’s Arts Leaders of Metro Atlanta.

I was one of the selected artists to paint a mural over Decatur’s utility boxes. The magnolias and the text celebrate my love for Decatur and the South. The mural is currently on view at the intersection of W. Ponce De Leon and Commerce Ave.

As seasons change, so do we

Located behind Marietta Square’s Two Birds Taphouse, this mural was created for Marietta Arts Council’s upcoming Trailfest.

Close, even apart

In Fall of 2021, I was selected as one of Round 8 muralists for Stacks Squares. This mural lives among the vibrant street art that exist in Cabbagetown, walking distance from Atlanta’s iconic Krog Street tunnel.

It has since been painted over to create opportunities for other artists. For those who missed out, here’s a virtual tour from a Korean vlogger.

2020

This residential mural was created for a bird-loving client in Fall 2020. The experience was fun and unique - and I painted it all while pregnant!

Whiskey Bird

My owl is the second micro-mural I created for Whiskey Bird, located in Morningside.

This mural was for the nursery at Saehan Presbyterian Church located in Alpharetta, Georgia.

2019

I was asked to paint a micro-mural for Whiskey Bird, a restaurant located in Morningside. Each participating local artist created a bird in flight in their own style. This was my first experience painting an outdoor mural.
